This seminar will focus on reducing the impact on biodiversity through the use of organic materials by employing circular bioeconomy. The event brings together Nordic and Colombian experts in bioeconomy, as well as civil society and businesses, to share experiences and innovative solutions.

About the event
This event brings together Nordic experts on bioeconomy to discuss how enhancing circular solutions is key to halt nature loss and what companies can do in their own supply chains to contribute to biodiversity conservation. The objective is to share experiences and innovative solutions, identify common themes and learn from others.
The seminar will start with a keynote speech by Sitra – the Finnish Innovation Fund that has a long track record in advancing circularity, starting from the Finnish national road map to the circular economy, published in 2016 as the first country in the world to do so. Sitra has also published several circular economy studies, playbooks for companies, guides for countries, and has incorporated the topic into the curricula on all levels of education in Finland.
