About the event
The circular economy offers a gateway to systemic transformation of how we produce and consume. It is an essential key to tackle the triple planetary crisis of climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution. Nordic and Colombian high level/ministerial panel will explore transitioning from a linear economy to a circular economy and the intersections between the circular economy and biodiversity and importance of forward looking policies and multi-stakeholder cooperation in circular economy transition. The panel is an integral part of Nordic activities during COP16 that includes other seminars: Solid waste impact on biodiversity, Less Pressure on Nature with Circular Bioeconomy and Mining with Nature
